Longest on a commercial flight was from LAX to Buenos Aires. (Around 11 hours if I remember right.)
Longest as PIC was around 1500 miles from Knoxville TN to SLC UT. 12 + hours.
SLC to Omaha for a student!! I don't think I could sleep if a student of mine actually did that trip. I don't like letting my student pilots do super long cross countries on my ticket. From SLC to Idaho Falls or maybe Boise. St. George if they want to go South. (200 NM one way, give or take, is plenty.) I admit, though, I feel better if they don't go that far.

Longest flight for me was from Kuwait Intl(KWI?) to ATL on a World DC-10. I love the DC-10 and I love getting the hell out of Iraq so I loved every second of it (even when they voluntold me to help load the cargo bays on the DC). From ATL it was on to DFW and then to Tucson. I forget how many hours it was.
It was a long flight getting to Kuwait but it was on a C-5 and I layed on the floor with my feet in the aisle and slept for god knows how long. Very comfortable if you get a seat in the fore end of the A/c (where the heater is)!

I was SIC on a Convair ferry flight from Columbus, OH nonstop to El Paso.
6.7 straight hours of hand-flying.

Longest flight definitely was over 8 hours duty time, around 6.5-7 actual flight time, CVG to CVG christmas day.
Flew CVG to BDL missed due to nil breaking action. Diverted to BGR eventually. Back to BDL, hold then divert to origination airport, CVG.
Real lonest flight Seul to Portland, just under 12 hours. No relief pilots.

can a convair actually fly that long? i hear those things, drink oil.... ive also seen the underside of one just recently and it was just covered with oil streaks......
