Today SIA flew the longest non-stop daily scheduled flight from Singapore to New York - it was just over 18 hours. Now that is a loooooong flight!

Can I get an upgrade?

ok, but what is your longest flight as PIC?

Speaking of PIC; what the length of your solo x-country? Mine was KMTJ-KJAC, spent the night and returned. I am wondering how to treat my studs now. One guy just asked if he could take the Katana to Omaha. Riiiiiggggghhhhhttttttt..........

.

The flight arrives on the same day, but looses two days on the way back... surely they did not cancel today's flight due to "lack of equipment".

Also, it would suck to have an emergency over the North Pole...

I flew in a C-17 from Andrews AFB to Guam non stop.

It took 2 midair refulings and 20 hrs.

LONG time to be stuck in a cargoplane.

The longest flight I ever flew was in a Varig MD-11 from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Miami, Florida.

Longest I've ever done was IAD to NRT. And when I got done with that flight, man, were my arms tired.

That's only partially a joke. You don't get to move around much and you get really sore and stiff.

Thank God for the ANA lounge and the massage chair they have there!

LAX-SYD was my longest as well. Thank god I got bumped up to first class. As for longest PIC (single leg) was 3.8 hours in a c172 from PNS to LAL.

My longest flight? The one where I got the last seat which was a middle in front of the exit row (no reclining) next to a fat man who thought he knew everything about flying. All I wanted --earmuffs-- was some f***ing sleep! Not the longest in block time, but it sure felt like it.

EWR-Prague and back. I've been to Paris and Frankfurt, leaving from IAD and BWI, but Prague was the furthest east. It's been a couple of years, don't remember the exact time.

PIC, from 33N (Delaware Airpark) just north of Dover to KMRB, Martinsburg, WV approx 120nm.

Minneapolis direct Narita Japan.... with a crying baby sitting right by me. What a horrible time that was.

Six ship C-141 formation from McChord AFB, WA - 2 Air Refuelings enroute to South Korea - low level and airdrop of heavy equipment - recover to Yokota AB, Japan, all radio silent. 14.7 hr flying time

My longest are LAX-NRT on NW and LAX-LHR on BA. The mileage is the same, I'm guessing the NRT flight took longer. Thanks to upgrades and ambien, neither felt very long

My longest PIC flight is sadly pretty short: SZP-MYF.

Personal longest was KORL-KCLT-KAGS-KORL-9.4 total

Longest total flight was ANC-ATL. Left ANC at 130 am and got bumped in SLC and had to wait 8 hrs until next one and the had bomb scare they called it "mechanical" but I would not have been asked to help search carryon's if that was the case. Flight finally left SLC @ 430 am SLC time and got to Atlanta I think around 12 noon. Very long day heck I was so tired I slept through taxi and takeoff and woke up on short final.

Longest PIC?
About 12 hours (with a couple stops) and 1,300+/- NM (PHX to STL). Andthen, of course the return trip (another 11-12 hours, 1,300 NM). Done this twice.

Longest ride?
Detroit to Narrita .. roughly 13 or 14 hours I believe (it's been about 10 years since I did thes trips).
