Logo Lights

The Brasilia runs all the lights all the time.

The BroJet has a switch (two actually--one in the after interphone compartment for the tail and one up front in the flight deck for the wings located in a compartment pilots are not to mess with).
funny I don't remember that. I remember turning on the logo lights...am I wrong here?

sorry, I meant as far as nav lights are concerned. Logo lights are wired separately.

The EMB 145 has the same "two sets of bulbs" but switching between them is a maintenance function. (I call the -145 the BroJet, because it is.)

The vast majority of Delta's fleets either don't have them installed, or they were deactivated during 7.5. Within the last year we were directed to "use em if ya got em," but most guys can't even find the switch to turn them on, it's been so long since they were last used. When you write them up for burnt out bulbs, the AMTs groan and roll their eyes.

Let me guess, the AMTs just placed it on MEL?

Normally that's the smart ass answer I would expect, but in this case google gave me very little except for an a.net link that gives credit to AA.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
I've heard it in a Douglas documentary and a Playboy documentary and of course word of mouth, if I come across another source I'll post it, but I've really never looked elsewhere.
