Logging out?

Am I supposed to do this?
What does this do?
Do most users "log out"?

I just move on somewhere else when I leave here. Does this affect/not affect the site if I log out or not? Does it make a difference?

I'm not being flippant... I really don't know.

Stay logged in......

......so Big Brother can keep an eye on you.

Makes no difference....lol.

Yes its no problem. If you stay logged in, you just still appear at the bottom of the main screen along with all the other users. Other than that, no big deal one way or the other.
 
...unless you're on a public computer and leave yourself logged in. Then strange things happen when Joe TwelvePack starts posting with your ID and hilarity ensues.
 
exactly....if you don't want someone posting under your username then i would log out. if you think your computer is safe enough from that type of thing happening, then you can stay logged in

If I had a dime for everytime someone stayed logged in on a public computer...
