Logging IOE given

I'm kind of surprised the question hasn't come up before but maybe that's because at the point where it becomes an issue, logging issues are secondary. I'd suppose logging it for its career experience value would be more important, which is why I liked Dan's earlier post.
Yeah. I'm not too concerned with precisely how it HAS to be logged as all my flight time minima are met so I'm not using it to meet any of the FAA required flight times, and if I ever interview anywhere that is run by logbook nazis (aka any 121) I will get further clarification then. I'm confident that I can satisfactorily explain it to anyone else who wants to know.

Specifically 135 in a single pilot aircraft. Count towards total time/cross country time/etc? Or just make a separate column for 135 flight checks given?
I log it as PIC and add a note with the trainees name. I also have a box to keep track of the total training time. That's how all the training captains/check airmen do it at Ameriflight. Not that that legitimizes it, but being a required crew member, being designated as the PIC by the company, signing for the airplane, and being in one of the pilot seats sounds like PIC and total time to me.

Logging it as dual given is where I get fuzzy. Depending on the plane, I wouldn't. In a 99 I would/did not. In a Metro, I might.
