Logging Hours

I would say document the time in a separate way. Separate logbook. Keep records that show you flying like a billing statements to the students. Take pics of the plane that you are flying. Anything that will help if you were to interview at a US flight school and have to explain yourself. I would have a story about "well, I did all this flying, but I did it outside the US, so I documented in a different logbook" ect. Of course, the more you document, the more the case against you for not having a work visa, so there's that. But if I needed a CFI and you came to me with a good story and documentation I'd be impressed you were conservative and didn't just log it as US, FAA legal time. If you're going to be doing this a long time, might be worth it to figure out a way to get "FAA legal".
