Location Of SOC's

Since this is my possible new career, I was wondering where I may potentially have to move. I currently live in Nashville and I know there are no operation centers here. (at least I don;t know of any) Anyway, I tried searching and couldn't find anything, but is there a list of what cities airline SOC's are located? I'm just worried about having my first job in the middle of nowhere in Iowa where I know no one and there's nothing to do outside of work. Thanks!

Off the top of my head some of the more out there ones are Great Lakes in Cheyenne, WY, Skywest in St.George, UT and Kalitta Air in Yipsilanti, MI. Just look on the internet and generally where their corporate headquarters is, that's where the SOC is. The closest for you would probably be Pinnacle in Memphis and from their to Fedex in Memphis as well or UPS in Louisville, KY...

From what I am hearing, 9E (Pinnacle) is moving to MSP since Delta is downsizing MEM.....at least this is what my brother in law is being told (he is a pilot for 9E).

I may have passed this or didn't see it but Mesa is in PHX.

There is a new airline called California Pacific that is located in Carlsbad which is north of SAN...I am not sure what there status is but they do have planes (E170/190).

There is Xtra Airways located in Boise, ID; they use to be Casino Express a few years ago.

American, American Eagle and Southwest are in Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Sorry if I repeated anything.....but from what I can see, they is most of the companies that have SOC.
