plus i dont think the post was read correctly,the pilot is to follow the hand signals, and the pilot said he made eye contact and assumed that that ment come at me instead of following my hand signals,dont assume follow directions

I don't know exactly what you meant above with the eye contact comment. But I did notice that after I started looking at the pilot in the eyes versus looking at the airplane when marshalling, I have had greater success with them doing what I direct them to do.

I normally try to give the lineman long, passionate gazes as I taxi to him. It makes for a more intimate experience, and it is always "safer"
