i started out at $8/hour, but i lived in NY. After 3 months i got a $1 raise. There is a pretty high turnover there and they give pretty good pay raises to help keep some people on longer.

I was at .25 above Min Wage when I first started doing it.

I got $8.50 an hour, but play you cards right and the connections you meet can be priceless.

I'm not pursuing an aviation career anymore and some of the connections I've gotten are still some of my closest friends. They help me in AND out of aviation arena.

I work for Primeflight,(Delta Ramp Agent) in DAB. The pay here is terrible(6.50 to start). If I didnt move up as quick as I did, my stay here would of been short. Now I make above 8.00 as a super. I would think you should seek more pay at a local FBO. Good Luck, I hope you find what you are looking for!

$8.00/hr. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. At eighteen years old, it was my first real job. "Over a buck above min. wage to work around airplanes?! Sweet!"

SWA starts at $8.15. Not sure what the local FBOs at ORL pay. I'll probably look for a similar job when I move back home this fall. None of the airlines at MEM are hiring rampers, so I'll probably give Signature a shot.

At American Eagle we start at $9.50 an hour and its all based on your seniority so the pay can go up if you stick around long enough.
