LIGHT CHOP

What a garbage article.

That airplane's performance is insane. Only things I've ever seen as high were Gulfstreams, way out of everyone's way too.

We can go straight to FL430 at every weight/temp combination I've seen so far, and almost all of the time FL450 is doable. Been to FL470 numerous times, but that usually involves either ISA not-too-high and/or burning some fuel (or a light payload to start with).

Edit to add: if I need FL470 to top weather I'm going around it anyway. FL450 to go straight over weather topping in the upper 30's is one thing, FL470 for weather going into the 40's...naw, not playing that game. 470 is when we're looking for smoother rides...

If you're at 4anything looking for a smoother ride (trip length notwithstanding) I'm assuming someone at a desk forgot how to read a chart or plan out deviations. But that's a bold assumption, of course.

Just my thoughts.
