FCI Greensboro, North Carolina:<BR />We are seeking an ambitious FAA Licensed Dispatcher to join a team of experienced<br />dispatchers/flight followers supporting aircraft operations within an<br />established, stable, and growing business aviation company in the Greensboro,<br /><div>North Carolina area.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>FAA Certified Flight Followers are delegated the authority for operational control<br />by the Director of Operations and exercise operational control jointly with the<br />PIC. Flight Followers prepare and distribute domestic and international Flight<br />Releases in accordance with company policies and regulations. Flight Releases<br />include weather data, runway analysis and pertinent remarks. The highest<br /><div>priority is safety of flights and regulatory compliance.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>Primary<br /><div>Responsibilities:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>&#8226;Releases flights in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and<br />regulatory requirements.<br /><br />&#8226;Monitor the status of assigned flights, and flights in progress &#8211; including<br />in-flight communication.<br /><br />&#8226;Collect, evaluate, and disseminate weather and aeronautical information to the<br />PIC.<br /><br />&#8226;Determines airport suitability and risk assessment.<br /><br />&#8226;Maintain and support key flight data on company flight tracking software.<br /><br />&#8226;Applies corrective action to minimize actual or potential delays due to<br />weather, aircraft maintenance, operations, crew legality, or other disruptions.<br /><br />&#8226;Advises appropriate company personnel of actual or potential delays and<br />conditions affecting the safety of a flight, including situations with weather,<br />regulatory flight restrictions or scheduling.<br /><br />&#8226;Coordinates with Maintenance Control to ensure aircraft status can operate<br />safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.<br /><br />&#8226;Ensures that MEL/CDL limitations or restrictions are evaluated and complied<br />with.<br /><br /><div>&#8226;Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&#8226;Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Training:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>&#8226;Extensive 60-day on the job training &amp; shadowing program.<br />&#8226;Newly certified FAA Dispatch certificate recipients or upcoming/pending<br />certificate recipients are encouraged to apply!<br />&#8226;Upward mobility and increased responsibilities are attainable from this position<br /><div>within our growing organization.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Qualifications:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>&#8226;FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification (candidates in progress of receiving their<br />certification are still encouraged to apply and will be considered if<br />certification can be obtained within 90-days of commencing employment0.<br /><br />&#8226;High school diploma at minimum; 2-year college degree preferred.<br /><br />&#8226;Applicants with Experience in Part 121, Part 135, and/or international flight<br /><div>operations will be given preference.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>&#8226;Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.<br /><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Location &amp; Benefits:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>&#8226;This position is NOT a remote opportunity.
