LGA accident

These fume events don't get NEARLY enough media coverage. We do ADs and ground fleets for less serious events seeing as dozens and dozens of flights have had fume events cause serious, and sometimes permanent, ailments. The planes go right back into service. I've looked up 2 different yellow A320s after events listed on AVHerald and both were back in service within 48 hours...after crew members got hospitalized. They seem to rarely find a cause. I worked a BA A380 as a ramp controller once that diverted to YVR with 30+ hospitalized IIRC. Barely made local news.

I guess ops check good so "inshallah".
Yea seems to be happening more frequently with these newer engines. Like I said I’ll blow slides than breathe in what’s coming off those engines. Staffing up in the tower has zero relevance in me declaring.

Over servicing of the apu oil is typically the culprit. Or so I’ve been told.

I’ve reached a point nowhere before I go further arguing my industry, I’d like to know if the person involved is also a 121 pilot.

What you're looking for is reason to justify the ad hominem attack and straw man fallacy you have brewing in your head because you can't refute the fact that the events at LGA, EWR, DCA had nothing to do with 91/135 operations. When the train jumped the tracks earlier in this thread you followed it and doubled down.

You seem to give an airliners.net forum bro vibe.

For someone that doesn't use social media, you sure seem to use social media. Also, you'd be incorrect as I don't have account at airliners.net.

3 posts of non answers. Conclusion is, no you’re not. Thanks for not answering.

No. You have a disdain for professional pilots and their operations that aren’t 121.

“I would never put my family on a corpie airplane” - You.

That’s not in jest. That’s your ignorance.

Well that’s a generalization. NetJets and airline-run types maybe. I’m not rich enough for private jets.

But that South Florida operator with a shady background, yes I’ll pass.

I would fly on whatever corporate gig you have. Better? :)

Pennsylvania Dutch? I remember an airshow when the amish turned up. Great to see...

Volunteered at an airshow last year and about 50 Mennonites were in attendance.

They embrace beneficial technology and had so many great technical questions. Loved hanging out with them.

Amish are a mixed bag. I attend a BBQ cookout with an order in KY every year. They love volleyball, who would have thought. Most entertaining is watching the older Amish watch the younger Amish give alcohol a try.
