Let's take bets. Who will Blue merge with?

Maybe. But what would that add for us?

Eh, not sure if mergers are about addition per se. What Wall Street wants Wall Street gets. They move around some money pieces, they get theirs, and they let everyone else figure out the rest.

My bigger concern with JetBlue is a foreign entity (let us say Emirates) decides to 'test' the waters majority ownership law of an airline based in the United States. JetBlue is ripe for that picking with the focus in New York, Florida, and California.

I agree with you 100%

Emirates Express operated by jetBlue

It's not crazy, it's exactly what happened to Darwin Airlines, albeit with Ethiad.

I don't think JetBlue would be allowed to merge with any of the big 3. Southwest? Maybe. A merger with Virgin would give them a larger west coast presence and allow them to build out from SFO and other western markets. Besides a merger with say Alaska, I think that's their best bet.

I hear ya. Thanks. A whole new nightmare to worry about...

Lol

I can also see JetBlue merging with Alaska.

That would drive Delta insane with the Alaska/JetBlue JFK presence.

I guess I don't see Blue merging anytime soon. It's tough enough being a non-state-owned airline based in Pakistan, and flights from there to the Middle East are already well-covered by the likes of Etihad, Qatar, and even Pakistan International.

i also don't see blue merging any time soon...and if they do i certainly don't see it with united or delta. i think the trio if blue/hawaiian/alaska would be awesome.
