They are hiring a lot of everyone's instructors. Probably less than 20% of each new hire class comes from ATP.

Only 2 ATP instructors out of 16 people were in my class, although I trained at ATP.

Hey man, I never spouted that be-99 time was the promised land. I flew the line at AMF for a year with about 5-6 of those months being tdy'ed all over the country, nothing special, and I never said it was. I learned how to fly there and wouldn't trade that experience for anything.
No need to close the thread, no need to get defensive, I'm just busting your balls. If you can't take it you shouldn't have been dishing it out.

Eh, the 99 is too easy to fly maing. The Metro, on the other hand, is golden time as far as I'm concerned. If you can fly one of those things, you might as well apply to NASA 'cause you're the ####in' ####!
And I'm a firm believer that the Chieftain has taught me everything I need to know about flying. If you can get through this training program in this aircraft and STILL comply with the speed restrictions we put on our guys, you've got a pretty good idea of what's going on.
