New Zealand is quickly becoming my favorite country to visit now! Each time i've been there, i've had an absolute BLAST!

How's the flying like for a Beech pilot like yourself there?

Flying is wonderfull over here, I absolutely love it. However, pay's really, really bad. As a Flight Instructor I earned about $25,000NZD, which is about $12,500 USD. First year FO on the Beech, about $30,000NZD which is about $15,000 USD. However, as a Captain you'll earn twice the amount as an FO does. Scenery is amazing, especially on the Southern Island, you're flying in Middle Earth, really.

To apply at Air New Zealand (national carrier), you gotta have a minimum of 2000 total time with experience in commercial operations. This year there's not that much of interviews, but I really do hope I can hook up with ANZ. Flying the Beech is fun, but it's really stressful. Ever briefed your crew outside where it's raining? Yeah, I did :laff:

There's no difference in pay there and in America/Atlanta, GA. My first year pay flying the CRJ 700 as an FO was $14,600.00. That is all! :crazy:
