Left Bag At PHX Terminal B28? Anyone Work there?

Hey,

My aunt left her bag at or around B28 on her layover.

Anyone work there that can maybe check the lost and found? Or is there any recomendations what to do?

America West lost and found is only automated so i can only "leave a claim" and if they find it, they'll tell us.

Does anyone know what happens to the lost and found stuff? After how long where does it go?

BTW, this happened on friday at around 11

If anyone does work there..the bag is a Louis Vuiton duffel bag with gold zippers. Its about 14 inches long and about 10 inches tall.

Lost and found would probably be your best bet, even though it's automated.

Or, uhh, eBay.

Well i did the automated one with America West, and i tried the ACTUAL lost and found at PHX but its closed for the weekend, so i left them a message and will try back again tomorrow.

I heard that luggage not claimed with in a certain amount of time goes to like an auction place? Does anyone know where that is? Or any info regarding it?
 
I think it's like six months or something like that.

However, here's a twist, considering it was an unattended bag, it might be with the TSA.

Well i called the cops and asked if an unattended Louis Vuiton bag was picked up. He said nope but if he saw it, he would call me back.
 
Police and TSA are totally different. Might wanna try calling TSA at the PHX airport. After that, it looks like you've gotten all your bases covered and there's not much else to do but wait.

Alright called them.

So i called America West filed a claim.

Called PHX lost and found, left a message

Called PHX police, told them about it

and called TSA and told them about it.

I guess i'll be waiting.

Well i have a lil hope.

The one lady i talked to (a rep for the information kiosk or something) said that they did receive a bag from the deli area (an area where my aunt said she was) and said that its in the lost and found area. So she said its a really good chance it might be it..cuz it was claimed at 12:05 (right before my aunt boarded the plane)!

When i was working at DFW one of those guys that goes around and picks up all the luggage carts found a bag with 10,000 dollars cash. The guy turned it in and found the owner. Thats honesty!!!!

If I ever found that much cash, I'd feel certain of one of two things:

a) I'm being set up and am being watched like a hawk, or

b) if I take it, someone will come after me and I'll end up in a dumpster somewhere.
