Lear-35A - Performance Questions

Has anyone on here on JC flown the Lear 35 for a substantial amount of time? I'm wondering if it has any quirky characteristics (difficult in crosswinds, climb rate, cruise performance, etc.). I'm supposed to ride along on a ferry flight with a -35 this week and I'm just wondering what to expect.

Thanks!

When you go to full flaps on the 35 the spoilerons actuate. So it's easy to get into a pilot induced oscillation on final. Aside from that it's a mild-mannered airplane with outstanding climb and a range that will undoubtedly outlast your bladder. If you fly it someplace warm it is oppressively hot in the cockpit. It's not particularly demanding for a turbojet -- one of the simplest i've flown from systems to handling qualities. An excellent step to turbojets for folks who have previously flown cabin-class twins or turboprops. Anyone who has flown transport category jets will be dissapointed in everything but the climb.
