Jesus.I'm confused, I think SkyWest just took over some of Lakes old routes and no one cared.
What am I missing? And I know I'm probably missing something, but I thought someone might as well do the flying if no one else is.

Expressjet and chatauqua cannot staff flying that's why they are giving some up, no harm going after that flying.

Here we are on day two after the big no vote and Eagle is still flying. The airline is not shut down. Other regionals have not lined up to fly Eagles routes. In fact there are no other regionals with any capacity to absorb Eagle's routes. Now what?

Delta had to sell about 1600 hours over to ASA for the summer. Maybe they can pick up some more flying. Don't look at Endeavor, by June or July we will have lost half hour SL to attrition.
This is kind of insulting. Have a quick look at history, or better yet have a gander at the series Generation Kill. The best adaptation to screen of how military actually works. It's probably just better education; I realized that being a revolutionary means picking your battles and knowing which hills to die on. The average sergeant may think that EVERY hill is the one to die on because "OOHRAH," where their commanding officers know better.
Or maybe I just got soft.
Good Lord. Really?I think you've got bad info. Xjt is giving hours back to both delta and united for the summer.

The NCO's are the backbone of all services, not the officers. I've been both.
Good Lord. Really?
Who the hell is flying all this crap in the summer?
Right, and the pensions will come back, scope will be reined in, pilots won't cut each others necks, and we'll get a national seniority list.Delta and united, hopefully.

Nah...brand new jets and flow through to mainline? Staffing wouldn't have been a problem.I think Eagle was going to shrink regardless. They just wanted a quick money grab, because that's how they do.
Serious or joke post?Nah...brand new jets and flow through to mainline? Staffing wouldn't have been a problem.
