LASIK Experience

FOR ALL THOSE THAT HAVE HAD LASIK DONE...

How much was it? I saw $3600 on one of the posts... I'm not really looking for a deal, but just an average price. I don't need it, but I think it'll be a great gift for my significant other who has terrible vision...

I'm in SoCal as well and paid $1700 for basic LASIK at the Laser Eye Center in Cerritos in 2004. As with everything else, "your price may vary" and it depends on what type of procedure your sig other needs.
Wavefront LASIK procedures are almost double the cost of the basic procedure but the LASIK surgeon and your sig others Optometrist should provide a recommendation about what procedure he/she is best suited for.
 
I had wavefront done at a very reputable place in Dallas that ran $3400, and the eyedrops probably racked up close to 200 more
 
Damn, guess it ain't cheap! haha. I guess she'll have to wait for a ten year anniversary or something, haha... thanks for the info...
