They're talking about lasers on NBC nightly news. I need to go out looking for these guys. The FBI is offering a 10 grand reward if you can lead them to an arrest.

There are always idiots with lasers in Vegas. Its easy for them to get a direct, unobstructed view of airliners on final. Im actually tempted to go hunting if they are serious about $10k rewards.

It'd be so easy to do it here. You're no more than a couple hundred feet over buildings where a lot of people live.
 
You'd have to move fast, get proof - video would be best. Ideally you'd have a team of people zeroing in.
 
It happens nightly in MIA. I have a good idea of the neighborhood it's happening in. I plan on getting in my car and driving through that neighborhood at night during one of my days off.
 
You can buy a pretty cheap pair of NVGs and follow the beam right to their house. With camera in one hand and phone in the other, you can get $10k quick!
 
That's a little less than half my yearly mortgage and we'll worth the investment. :)
