Laser Glideslope landing systems

Looks like a glideslope that will project out that you can see with NVGs or some other kind of hardware? Or maybe with your Mk 1 eyeballs.
 
I watched the video on youtube, and I almost have to wonder if their definition of "zero visibility" means darkness. :confused: (for the visible-spectrum guidance, anyway)
 
All our systems follow the guide lines of the FDA under the CDRH. & BRH standards.
Prevents hitting wires,and objects that may be in your landing approach way!
Can be tone keyed from your aircraft to turn on your laser approach runway glide slope and Laser runway lighting system!


I'm not sure when the Food and Drug Administration started to help out in certification for navigational systems...


Also, does this seem poorly written, like someone who's had 4 years of English in Bejing?

Agreed, I was wondering why they said anything about the FDA in there too, I'm guessing it was a typo for the FAA, but still get the facts right if your trying to sell a 125K piece of equipment.

Also whats the advantage of using this opposed to a traditional GPS approach or ILS??? There all free and certified. I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting this equipment in 0/0 conditions.

FDA establishes the standards for eye safety when dealing with lasers.
