Very nice! Mind if I ask how you managed that ride-along?

I'm taking an aircraft accident investigation class out here. Three of LASD finest (including the Captain) are in this class as well. You talk to the right people and you never know what could come of it. ;)

You suck! I've been trying to get a ride with Aero for a little while now! A couple of my buddies have, but i've been unsuccessful!

Did you guys end up flying through the buildings? I heard that's quite a rush!

Also, did you end up doing the full ride, or a shortened thing?

Didn't go squirting through the buildings last night. We got right up next to them but not through them. It was ten hour shift of which they fly 2, 3 hour slots. I went up for one of the 3 hour blocks.

Sweet stuff man! LASD is the only way to go! Although i'm a little biased! ;)

I bleed tan and green....:rawk:

Yeah it would make sense that you guys are slow....

:laff:

Lol.....I'd love to have the easy-goings of a helipad with fuel and servicing everywhere out here in the desert too along with little to no backup; some of us truly have to work when the time comes!

:D

On a serious note, I like the cabin room on that Sea King.....heck of alot better for rescues than a Blackhawk and much less cramped.
