Landmark IAH

Wilson air center in Memphis is By far my favorite FBO. Behind them, Millionaire is probably my favorite, followed by the TAC air in TYS.

$700ish "handling fee" to drop my boss off at BWI to visit his dying father at Johns Hopkins, and no mercy from the GM when we did it 3 or 4 times during the week. The "handling" consisted of the line guy putting chocks under the nose wheel, and nothing else.

At MIA, we were told it would be $250 to tow us from the CBP ramp to the Signature ramp, only to end up paying $8/gallon for gas and the ungodly parking and handling fees.

Damn! That does suck.

Signatures and most Landmarks may suck, with one exception. Landmark KSDL is super duper neato awesome! The CSRs are a bit slow, but the free food, drinks and sound-proof rooms with flat screens and leather recliners can't be beat. Find an excuse to get stuck there and head upstairs!

Yeah....

I worked the line at signature for awhile in my early twenties thinking it might be good for networking. Turns out everyone hates you when you work there. Don't do it kids.

ive seen that most Atlantic's will charge you out the wang-wang and somes of the Sig's out there will do the same. They all suck!! BIG TIME!!!! I like the Million Air's out there. . usually have expensive gas but at least a nice CSR and a BMW to ride in after watching movies in the movie theater.
But I'm with you guys, give me internet, a TV with cable and a nice place to sit . . . and I'm happy! Oh and really cheap gas! Or at least a ball cap or T-shirt.

Signature MCO and MKE weren't terrible to me. They treated us freight dawgs like actual pilots. Being based at landmark is pretty comical. After becoming friends with several of their employees you see how freaking cheap the FBO is. Their screening of new CSRs is laughable and the turnover is extremely high. Meridian TEB is by far the best FBO I've been to. Atlantic PWK is a close second.

I did the same. There were a few people that hated us. Mostly just the management though.

Been to BOS recently? You can't get out the door for under a grand, unless you want to buy a LOT of $8/gallon gas. To be fair, a few hundred is government cheese, but for pity's sake, a thousand bucks to park for 30 minutes? Where I'm from that involves LITERAL screwing.

I have noticed a bit of hate for Signature. What is it all about?

Try this one on: Needed to fly into San Fran for a 2 hr lunch meeting just off airport. Called ahead to SFO for the landing fee for the Cirrus. $600, plus minimum fuel purchase. For a Cirrus. For 2 hours.

Las Vegas. $41 "handling fee" waived w 7 gal. purchase. $80 overnight. For single piston.

MSP... Highway robbery. Forget what it was, but it was the only game in town @ 2am when we flew in and needed a rental car.
