Lamination of Documents

I had my documents laminated being my medical, (laminated after I signed it.) Also, I laminated my written test paper that you receive after completing it. I just know how I am and how clumsy I can be so I didn't want to ruin anything. But now I heard it may not be valid since I did that? (Also for the written test you can still feel the texture for the FAA approval seal after laminating it.)

I’ve laminated my medical for the past 3 years. I’ve had FAA safety inspectors, LCA, etc and no one has ever given me a hard time about it. YMMV

I laminate my medical every year, I've had an LCA and one IP look sideways at it but didn't feel to strongly about it

I would not laminate the test results though

Why not put the written test in a folder or get one of those clear single sheet protectors? The only thing I have laminated is my FCC radio license and I’ve never had anyone ask for it.

I keep my FCC and medical in plastic card holder.

I recommend self reporting to the FAA so they can raid your house, revoke your certificate, and put you in federal prison for a minimum of 10 years.
