Hey guys
Between Kings private pilot course and Sporty's private pilot course, which one is better?
Which one has better explanations and covers more materials?
I'm not concerned about being humorous. As long as it contains more informations and easy to understand, I'm fine with it.
Thanks guys

It all depends on what you want to accomplish with the course. Do you want to use it to complete a written? Or do you need something to help out with the flying?

The reason I ask is because the King course is designed just for the written test whereas the Sporties is geared more to the flying and operation areas of flight training.

For the written, definatly the King products. They're very dry and corny, but full of information to get you through the written.
Just my opinion. :)

I was looking for flight and oral part of the exam. Does sporty's provide enough informations to pass the oral part of the exam?

I have seen some of the Sporty's stuff and I highly recommend it. I remember seeing some of the older King stuff and unless they changed it, I find it very boring and dry. Hard to learn when you are not paying attention!

I've gone through the King schools private course and I think it was a great learning tool. It can get corny, but the cheesy humor is sometimes funny, and the explanations very thorough. I've also gone through the Sporty's instrument course and although decent, I felt it was lacking something. I preferred the teaching method of the Kings.

I've pretty much tried everything out there for the PPL. The best purchases I made were the Kings Courses for the Checkride and Written, as well as the Rod Machado Private Pilot Book. Those three combined you are guaranteed to pass.

I personally didn't like the sportys dvd set...
