King Schools 135 Initial Pilot training?

"Never tell me the odds!"
Thinking of picking this up to get a head start on ground school. Anyone ever used this? I used the king videos for a number of my ratings so I know how campy some of the material can be. But it looks like a good primer on the 135 test.

135 test... you mean the checkride? If you can't pass the checkride it's the companies fault. No need to spend money. They will(or should) teach you everything you need to know. (and for SIC 135 rides are lol simple.)

I wouldn't. I'd spend time reading 14CFR135 and getting well-versed in the those rules. Also, read through the threads in Technical Talk.

That. Doesn't hurt to know the regs, though.

But really, as he said, you should get everything you need from ground.

A cursory read through of the regulations is a good idea, but without a little explanation, some of them will leave someone with no experience scratching their head.

Well shoot then that's too easy. I must be missing something. I studied the hell out of it for the interview expecting to be asked 135 questions.

Spend more time on your company OpSpecs. 135 has intentionally outsourced all the meat to the OpSpecs.
