Can anyone provide a link showing King Air contract pilot pay averages? I checked the 2012 ProPilot Magazine Salary survey but it obviously only showed salaries.

Thanks

Expenses is a given in the contract world folks. It's a must have and you do not do the job unless all expenses are covered. It's not just about the industry standard, you will find yourself miserable having accepted a trip where hotel, food and car is on you.

Private hotel!!!!!!!! None of this sharing room crap, or staying at a relatives!

Back OT. If you can get $450 great...Expect less though. I've seen people get as much as $700/day BE20, and as little as $200/day BE9L.

Goodluck.

$200 seems low, as a full time employee on a air frame similar in size to a 90, our daily rate is a good bit better than that.

I contract for $200 a day for a B200 FO with some pretty nice additional benefits and my own hotel room.

$300/day is my rate for twins less than 12,500. If I'm flying the 1900 contract it's $500/day. Then again, it's pretty rare that I get called for anything.

I know its not entirely on subject here, but my best friend charges a minimum of $250 a day to come out and paint/drywall repair/handyman work. And thats his bare minimum. Just for comparison.

A good idea for contract pay is to take the average salary for KA pilots near you, double that and then divide it to find an average daily rate. For example: $52,000 / 260 * 2 = $400

I made $200.00 per day when right seat, + $65.00 food per diem + hotel and rental car, on the BE20. Finished SIMCOM, moved to left seat and get $350.00 + + +. They paid for SIMCOM.
First of the year go to retainer of 3.5k per month 30 days a quarter anything over is $400.00 a day. Still includes per diem and hotel and rent car expenses.
