Yeah that sucks. Can't wait to get home, seems like I'm missing more and more important events back home for nothing while rotting in a hotel room in a random city....living the dream...

yeah, you get used to the detatchment after a while. it really bugged me for a while when especially thanks to facebook, you are CONSTANTLY reminded of all the cool fun stuff your friends are doing and youre missing out on. after a while i accepted it, and just try to focus on finding cool fun things to do whenever possible on the road by myself. sometimes easier said than done.

after my 2nd year though, im DEFINITELY ready to move on.

yelp.com and the last.fm EVENTS tab is a good source to start

oh, and ive missed my two best friends weddings this year. thanks, job. :-\

There's a place here in *gasp* Salt Lake *gasp* called Brewvies that does the same thing. And people say Utah has no culture! :beer:

yeah, the second season is the killer. i definitely am ready to move on as well. I can't take being gone like this anymore. luckily, my boss is giving me the last week of the month off so that I can make it to a couple of weddings. I really can't wait to just sit around with my friends and drink a beer. not to mention spending time with my g/f again (its been three months since i've seen her).
