Just wanted to give a general report on my time at key lime. The rumors are far from true in regards to maintenance practices, training, and qol. Steve, the chief pilot, seems to be concern with both safety and qol for both the piston and turbo prop pilots. The pay isn't anything to write home about but the flying is extremely satisfying and outright fun.
They are currently looking for more piston pilots. Upgrade times, as long as more piston pilots are coming in, are 8 to 12 months.
Again the rumors were wrong. This is a great place to get your Mel time as pic! With the expansion of their 121 fleet its even a place where someone could make it a career and do very well.
