Key Lime Air

Why is this debate going on?! ITS A PAY FOR YOUR JOB COMPANY! No wonder aviation is going to hell in a hand basket. ITS A PAY FOR YOUR JOB COMPANY! What ever happened to people paying their dues?

Key Lemon Air called me last spring to offer me an interview based on the resume I had posted on Climb to 350. The woman I spoke with said that it is always better to have two pilots, that even though the "first officers" were paying, it makes the captain's job easier to have another pilot on board. Oh, by the way, "you are a current MEII, right?" I asked if I would be compensated for training these "first officers." She said no . . . I said no thanks. I got a bad vibe early on and it just got worse as my BS meter kept getting stronger and stronger. They do a disservice to our profession.

Your choice, what kind of aviation world do want to help create?
