Key Lime Air

Internet battles are very entertaining. You guys keep it up. :-)
Nah, I wouldn't call this a battle, more like someone making a fool of themselves. Who that is exactly depends on your perspective, but I'd put my money on the guy who can't even admit he thinks his former kool aid drinking self was wrong when he was promoting the company that he now can't wait to leave.

Oh, and I think we might be hiring a dispatcher again.

I think you both have a screw loose for still being there. Just my perspective though.
You know, I can understand that. I've not run into any serious operational issues like you've described, but from my perspective the QOL does leave a bit to be desired. 4:30 shows all week on 8 hour reduced rest gets old quick. MCK ain't much to look at either, but it is the highest paying piston run. But when something opens up in DEN I'll be outta here in a heartbeat.

I met a 6 year Skywest FO the other day. He makes a lot more than me, DEN based, and by his words works about 12-14 days a month. That said, he's still an FO. If I play my cards right by the end of year two, two and a half at the most, I'll have my 1,000 MTPIC and be on to other things. From my perspective that's really the only reason to be here, unless you truly want to live at one of our outstations.

I noticed Key Lime has no specific multi time requirement... What kind of ME time are guys actually getting into the piston beaters with? Anyone have any opinions on Ameriflight vs. KL? I'd rather go to AMF, but if it means I have to spend another $5,000-$10,000 on renting a twin to get to the 50-100 hrs of ME they want then I guess I'll try for KL.

I was hired with 38. Another guy with less than 10. They'll be one piston guy in the May class, don't know beyond that.

I was hired right at 50. If you flexible with where you live I think Ameriflight may offer you a substantially better QOL. The schedule is the same but they've had more practice doing what they do. Everyone has a different experience with KL but well over half of the folks that have left did not leave happy.
