A crew is a crew. Cockpit or cabin. I'd think it wouldn't help to have a plane delayed at the gate because cabin crew is held up at security waiting to get through, while the cockpit crew breezed through.

While there may have been issues with cabin crew, there's been more than a share of issues with cockpit crew too; no one faction is necessarily immune from having done dumb stuff with regards to security checkpoints.

You can get yourself a known traveler number thing to avoid it. Global entry and precheck all at the same time to.

I would be pretty livid if that showed up on one of my boarding passes. I tend to try to get to the airport with practically zero spare time when I travel somewhere.
