KASE like a case of beer or that damn airport in the middle of Colorado.

Ive gotta spend all weekend down there at Aspen, seeing if anyone is around the area or fun things to do around there. I was there back in the winter when you could ski but since its starting to well warm up, I need suggestions! Or if anyone wants to meet up.

rent a bike. water flow is too high to fly fish, and too cold to raft. ride to the top of indepence pass, have fun on the way down.

We used to drive down to Grand Junction and shoot ground hogs:rawk:

It is a pretty pricey town, most activites won't be cheap. There are however a ton of bike trails. Snowmass village is fun, the actual town of Aspen I consider to be dull. There is a good BBQ place on the main street when you first get into town, I forget the name but it looks like a cabin.

If you have a rental car then check out Glenwood Springs hot springs. It's something like a million gallons of water in that pool. A hour drive or so.

Get ready for some rich snobs in Aspen.

Glenwood canyon on the interstate is the most scenic drive I have ever been on. You will be in awe, I wouldn't miss it.

Thanks Ruda, i'll check out glenwood springs.

And I have actually eaten at the BBQ place you're talking about. It was pretty good!

Where the beer flows like wine, and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.

Talking 'bout a place called....ASSSSSSSSpennnn.

You make it sound like it's a bad thing that you have to fly into ASE and spent all weekend there;) I'd rather fly into ASE and spent all weekend there, than some small crap airport and town in the middle of nowhere in Kansas.

If you ever want to try and top that, I recommend the Icefield Parkway in Alberta, Canada (Banff and Jasper National Parks). I drove that one 3 days ago, and its at the top of my list.

It's not a bad thing that I'm out here, it's just there isn't a whole lot to do and it's been raining nonstop. and my computer died so yeah. But I think I'll check out glenwood today'

I've spend a lot of time in ASE over the years. It is beautiful of course but very expensive and quite pretentious. :)
