K-State > UND, ERAU, etc.?

The certificates that are issued by the faa pretty much all say the same thing. Does a degree from XXX University help get a job at XXX regional? There are certain cases where this is true. Choose what you think fits you best though, not what a group of people on a forum say.
 
Went to Western. Just from talking with K-State guys, and looking at their program online, I have always been very very impressed.
 
Better:
1. Hair Gel
2. Watches
3. Flight Bags.

How a good ole' midwestern flight school fell prey to this, I don't know.
Can't change the past.

To do list: Give my K-State alum friends more crap.

Pink, huh? Well do you guys learn how to fly IN tornados?!?!?!!! That's what I thought, we're far better trained for dealing with weather. +1 for K-state.
 
My list:
1. Purdue
2. OU
3. UND, WMU, ERAU
4. K-State, SIU, CWU, FIT etc.

Personally, I am visiting the schools from 1,2 and 3.
 
The amount of money you will save by going to K-State is reason enough to go with "K-State > UND, ERAU". We have numerous pilots currently and formerly on staff from K-State. All have been good sticks who know their stuff.
 
How many guys do the gliders at K-State? I think that's an awesome plus...

Actually, UND is cheaper by by $2000 compared to K-State according to Collegeboard dot org. And you have the opportunity to receive in-state tuition after roughly spending 12 months in the state of ND. Thats about $6000 a year. Just my shameless plug for UND.

It's sad how overlooked we are. But, I guess since we don't have a jet transition course or a fleet of G1000 airplanes there is just no way we could possible teach Lazy-8s as good as the big schools.

Is that based on K-State or K-State at Salina? or does it even matter?

I'll put my shameless plug in for my alma mater University of Central Missouri
 
Went to UND. I would favor Purdue, Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee and K-State. Purdue is the highest quality, by far.

IIRC, both KSU and KSU@Salina are the same price. I'm from Kansas and it was cheaper for me to get the boarder grant to go to UCM than it would have been to go to KSU. That said, I loved the year I was at UCM, but I just needed to be further from home and in a place that allowed me to get flying done more than 7-8 months of the year.
