Just wanted to complain

Most of the engine schools I've been to spend about 40% of the time telling you how it's supposed to work and 60% of the time telling you the most probable reasons it won't on any given day. The most important thing they teach is all of the acronyms the pilots and the bosses don't know, that way you can "dazzle them with BS".:smoke:
Lots of good information so far, but wish the instructor would quit going off on rabbit trails. The aircraft related rabbit trails I don't mind, it's unrelated random crap that makes me post on here in class.

Lots of talk about using fluorescent lights to catch scorpions, or tales of taxiing with the GPU still hooked up?
