Just getting paranoid

I know its a stupid question just wanted to make sure I should get my Geo Prefs on my asap account right not some other way. I have been waiting a while and i know there is suppose to be some movement on people getting hired soon.

Geopref emails were sent out a month and a half ago. I hate to say it, but if you did not respond to that email, you have missed the window. :(

Yeah everyone received a Geo Pref email with a link to go to, to chose our preferences around 8/17 and we had until 9/2 to decide and respond....

You may have missed the boat or got missed... But it would have been an email the same way you were notified to take the AT-SAT...

Well that kinda sucks. I never got an email to take the At-Sat though I got a phone call and it was in my asap. So not sure if there is something up with them emailing me or I was passed up like you all said. Well thank you anyway

You may just be out of luck. From my understanding, the FAA is only reviewing Well Qualified candidates, and those are ones that scored 95.0-100 on their AT-SAT. If you scored a 92.6, then you'll be in the qualified range, and those are usually the second round of candidates that they look at AFTER they extend the opening to the WQ peeps. So, depending upon the response they got back, you may get contacted... but not to burst your bubble, I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd suggest applying the SECOND the next OTS announcement opens up and retaking the AT-SAT. Good luck!

An 85 or above is considered 'Well Qualified', not 95.

Maybe I'm going crazy but I missed WQ by 1 point (I know right) and I made the referral list. . . It's the gov, what do you expect!

As far as I can tell unless there is a problem with your app EVERYONE makes a referral list as long as the state you picked is hiring
