Is it twisted that I almost miss flying around midwest thunderstorms?

Thunderstorms up here are lame!

It's beautiful here today, and I even got to come home for a few hours in between my morning madness and this afternoon's flight. Had a screwy schedule today, being the day after a holiday. Got to fly about 2x what I normally do in a day though, which I guess is alright once in awhile.

in a way there peaceful and mostly harmless (in my area), just a little loud. Ill sit on my porch for hours watching one go by.

Not good for flying of course.
