***June 16th Terminal Basics***

I was picked up OTS, but I'm just about to finish semester 3 out of 4 from the CTI program at UAA. So both.

I graduated from UAA back in May of 2008, I got picked up at Moses Lake, WA. I haven't got an academy date yet, just got a new HR rep, W.W. used to be mine. I thought she got transferred to a different area, are you sure you don't have R.A. now?? A buddy of mine got placed in Fairbanks and has R.A. as his HR rep. He is supposed to be doing all of W.W. old assignments now.

Where are you staying? Have you decided yet?

I will be paying for two apartments while in OKC, so.... the 5 star Brittany was right for me. I almost rented an unfirnished place for like $390 a month, but I will be in OKC for just 2.5 months. I did the math and it might have saved me some money, but it would have added some up front costs.... plus I will have no ride. So I would've had to walk to and from shuttle locations.

I suggest caffine on the first day... lots of it.

I think I counted about 7-8 times we were told never to access porn on FAA puters.

Wow.. Others have said the same thing. I think it's already permanently embedded in my brain now

I had about 2 hours sleep and no caffine. I was fine until the last couple hours. Get a Rebull or something at lunch or a break. It just got repetative near the end.

Better... that is if you have no previous aviation/ATC experiance.

Unfortunatly for me, I have 3 out of 4 semesters of a CTI degree completed. You get OKC-like-basics in Semester 1 & 2 of CTI. So it's going to be review for me.

Still though, it will be more interesting than day 1 . Sould be a basics whiz by July 21st. There are only 4 other people in my class (all OTS with no avaiation background), so I should be able to help our study group a lot.
