Jumpseating on Polar

Thanks everyone! I'm really looking forward to my ride back to the US on Polar! You've all helped me reduce any stress/worries about the flight. Thank you. I will be in my uniform.

How early does the crew show up? I was told to be there 1.5 hours before departure. As far as the food is concerned, I'm just happy that there will be something available. I'm not a coffee drinker. Is there water/soft drinks available or should I grab some before departure? Any limitations on flight crews in HKG with liquids?
 
The crew will be there no later than 1.5 hours earlier. They probably won't wait, so try to be there before that.

The flight will be fully catered for you too, so plenty of water/soft drinks.

No liquid issues, especially since you'll check your bag (if the crew does). It's a very nice service, I highly recommend using it if able.
 
At the terminal, the ops folks will check your bags and put them on the jet.
 
I just got back from my flight on Polar and I have to say "WOW!" What a great group of people! The crew was very laid back and very professional. Thank you so much for the ride. Thanks to everyone on here who provided information about the flight. I think I have my preferred ride internationally now.
 
I'm bringing this thread back to life. I'm planning on catching Polar tomorrow afternoon from HKG. Pretty sure I know I know where to go in terminal 2. It's going to bring me to ICN then ANC. Then I'll find another way home from there. Looking forward to the trip and will report back of my experience. Hopefully my hostel here has an ironing board for my white uniform shirt, as I've been roughing it the last several days. :)
