A friend of mine invited me on a maintenance flight to the Gulfstream facility at KSAV. Here's some photos of the G4. It was a beautifully flying aircraft, loved every minute of it.

Julio Iglesias's G5 happened to be at the Gulfstream facility for maintenance so we got a tour of it. It was ready to head to Miami. The APU was running and it was ready to go.

This is the cockpit of Julio Iglesias's G5, very clean displays.

Sorry about the poor quality photos. It was the best I could do with my crappy cam. Hope you all enjoy. -Dan

What a freeking pimp! We all know the plane is obviously yours. Being in law enforcement you can obviously afford those things.

So how much time did you log? ;)

Awesome pics!

Yes, you know how well they pay us. I must admit, if it wasn't for the kickbacks, I wouldn't be able to afford the 4,500/hr for the jet. It's a thugs life! Does starting the APU qualify for any time I can log? :D

But... why doesn't the GV have G1000? :sarcasm: :deadhorse:

Thanks for sharing the pics, looks like you had an awesome time!

I LOOOVED those pics and you've got some well connected friends, dude! Great shots:clap:

By the way, is the cockpit as cramped as it looks? I can't imagine how corporate/business pilots who have to fly their passengers (and sitting in the jumpseat!) to a destination 12 flying hours away do it. But still, it looks like one helluva fun and cool jet!
