Jump Pilot California

Well the time has come for me to move on, hopefully. I had one interview last week and two more coming up in the next couple weeks. If I get hired at any one of those places, my jump pilot position will be opening up at Skydive Coastal California in Camarillo towards the end of May. Here are the requirements:

Airplane Single Engine Commercial
500 TT (Insurance Requirement)
Jump pilot experience preferred
Cessna 182 experience preferred
Experience in highly congested airspace

Pay is $150 base per week, $20 for every day you show up whether you fly or not, and $10 per load. We fly Thursday through Monday. The busy season is coming up so you should expect to be flying A LOT. I'm will be doing 19 loads this Saturday.

Send resumes to: nick.arnfelt@gmail.com. PM with questions.

Thanks for the ad. I emailed Nick a resume. I ended up not relocating to Camarillo, but I am 90 minutes south. Willing to commute. Where did you get some interviews?

Commuting 90 minutes would be pretty much impossible for this job.

Had an interview with Phoenix Air last week. I have interviews with Mesaba and Great Lakes in two weeks. According to some inside sources, Phoenix is sounding pretty much guaranteed but I don't want to jinx myself before I hear the official word.

Edit to add: MINS ARE 400 TT.
My mistake. 500 is for the 206.

They have three G1's and they are getting two EMB-120s. They do runs from Point Mugu up to China Lake and also out to San Nicolas Island.

They also have Lear 36s. I see them from time to time up here.
