Now I am a pilot and a Lyft Driver. I can make money, while I am on call to my company. As that lego video says "Living the Dream" 
Sounds fun! So does Uber too, which some folks on the forum roundly rejected @ZapBrannigan for even considering.

It is fun. Uber is cool, but I liked using Lyft more. My place is right around some bars, so during happy hour will be fun LOL. I am also around the college and tonight is college night at two of the bars. Easy money and it is an awesome way to meet new people. It is pretty fun.
Uber wants 2005 cars or newer and mine is a 2004, which is another reason I like Lyft

I've been a Lyft driver for a month now here in SLC. Have had 3 people throw up outside my car (thankfully none inside my car) and 1 gay guy hit on me. I guess you can say I'm "Livin the Dream." It is easy money though, and you do meet a lot of interesting people.

There's not a way to request a certain driver, the app just picks the closet driver to you. As for waiting, it's $0.18 per min and it depends on the driver if he wants to wait that long. Usually the driver will end your ride and have you request a new ride after you are done.
