Jobs in Nashville, TN area?

Corporate Flight Management is one of the larger corporate gigs in the Nashville area. They have an office at John Tune Airport, just west of BNA and another in Smyrna, just south of BNA. http://www.flycfm.com/

Or you could always look into instructing at Wings of Eagles (at both MQY and John Tune) or Outlaw Aviation in MBT. Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head, good luck!

I know ameriflight was always in Smyrna when I was instructing out there... Not sure though... I never actually stepped foot at John Tune airport, just approaches.

I saw an Ameriflight plane in at MQY there last fall when I was there with an airship.

There is a metro and 1900 in MQY that are outstations for the SDF base, which is part of the CVG operations for Ameriflight. The 1900 pilot has been on the run for over a year, and the metro pilot is still under his year commitment. If those runs open up, I'm 95% sure that somebody in company will bid those runs.

Your better shot might me Corporate Flight. I have heard of a couple of guys that have gotten right seat jobs for their Jetstreams.

LoveT%%%%
Doubt that nickname stuck with him on the move though.
------
Less Reserve, More Suck.
But honestly, last I heard that was a good run for QOL, bad for time building = very small chance it would go to a street hire.

I'm going to pry didn't you just join the airline? do you just not like the airlines?

I did just join, I'm about 8 months in... I do like the airlines I'm just always looking for opportunities. I highly doubt I will leave my current airline but if I found a really sweet cargo run I would consider leaving my current job

I can tell you there's one certain freight operator that you want to avoid who is based out of MQY....

There is a third run out of MQY now. It is hidden because they use the UPS Metro over the weekend for something else.

I believe the 1900 pilot is starting to look at some new options. SDF has issues getting people for the same reason CVG has issues getting people. Worst schedules in the company. CVG has 6-7 day work weeks. It is very possible that no one wants to be there from the company. The last 1900 bid went super junior at SDF.

I agree with everything you said. I was SDF based for little over two years. I know exactly why people stay away from the CVG & SDF bases.

Does anyone know if CFM is hiring? I've sent them a few applications in the past. Also it would be nice since I live about 30 min away
