Manages changes to flight plans by coordinating irregular operations; providing emergency response support; exercising authority over initiating, conducting, or terminating flight operations through after-hour rotational coverage; providing operational guidance and subject-matter expertise for non-scheduled maintenance events; reviewing and evaluating daily operational changes to ensure flight crew and aircraft can safely complete mission; ensuring a quality customer travel experience in a dynamic operating environment; making decisions to change equipment, crew, and destination airport based on analysis results; escalating high-priority changes to Flight Operations Manager for approval; and briefing assigned flight crew on anticipated or actual changes to flights.

Schedules domestic flights and flight crew resources by reviewing customer requests for aircraft based on established guidelines; analyzing aviation resource availability to safely meet mission objectives; assessing operational risks of customer requests; accommodating changes to customer planning schedules; anticipating short and long-term impact to aviation resources (for example, aircraft equipment, flight crew); and communicating results with key stakeholders.

Manages flight operational control duties for domestic flights by planning scheduled operations; ensuring continuity of flight operations; anticipating issues that could interfere with flight plan; providing operational support during all aircraft launch and recovery procedures; and identifying opportunities for continuous improvements to Corporate Aviation Planning standard operations procedures (SOP).

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in aircraft and flight crew planning and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field OR 2 years experience in flight operations planning or related field OR Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Dispatcher License.
 
Hey, at least for this Wal Mart job if you start thinking about starting a union, they can just have their goons step in to the Ops center to fire you rather than have you dispatch them to another location to fire others.
