Great set!

(Whenever I see a 763 at DTW, I always wonder if DT is drivin' that day... :) )

Nice! How long did the taxi out end up being?

It was 37 mins from the GA terminal to 22R, but included about 5 mins of trying to get out on a taxiway so I could get my clearance (couldn't get clearance to hear me on 135.05)...overall it wasn't bad at all. I've sat holding short of 26R at ATL for 58 mins while everyone else got to go.

I went through DTW twice in the last six years. Once was a diversion from PRG and the other time I was on a six-day trip (JFK-FRA-DTW-FRA-JFK)

Very nice! Wasn't me though! :)

I did hear a "Delta 1-something-something heavy" and I was able to get in a "Doug Taylor?"...I saw on FB that you were in AZ, but I thought someone might ask you about it later...haha!

Yesterday, Delta 127 came in with an emergency (cause a JetBlue to go around)...the boss was curious to know what it was, if one on here might know the reason to it.

Awesome photos. Looked like a fun trip. I flew into JFK in a Skyhawk a few years ago. One of the best flights.

I saw your plane at HFD two nights ago. Too bad it was almost midnight.

That was us, HFD is a great little airport and the approach to 20 is some great fun. I'll be back up that way next week, going into either Hartford or Springfield, Mass.

HFD is pretty cool. We did it in the King Air, but we landed on 2.

With all the junk they have on the departure end of 2, I'm sure it can be quite fun.

At HFD there's junk on both ends.
Both runways are enclosed by a 20' dike with trees which almost always causes a little turbulence on short final 2.

Rwy 2 Departure end there's the lawn waste treatment plant and bridge crossing the CT river with power lines.

Rwy 20 Overrun area known as the executive lagoon (read waste water treatment pond) and again the trees and dike can make it a challenging departure.

Spent a lot of years there, great airport!
