Found this reality show about 7 Canadian F-18 Rookies and their training. Im on episode 1. Pretty cool series.

 
I watched this a couple of years ago. Yes, it was an excellent show. I can't remember where I watched it though. Maybe on the military channel or Discovery. Can't remember. Even the wife watched it. The pilots who you thought would do really well ended up having a tough time and the ones who you thought might not do well actually made it.
 
Just looked in the newsgroups and all the episodes are still there. Some of them are in 720p. Now you've got me wanting to watch it again!

I just came across it last week. Watched all the episodes, very god show.
 
Wasn't there an attempt to make a similar program a few years ago based on the Air Force? I remember it only got a couple of episodes out before they pulled the plug.

I remember this as well, though vaguely. I believe it was on the Discovery Channel and focused on several pilots undergoing F-15 training. One of the pilots rode a motorcycle. That's all I remember.

That centrifuge looks like a friggin nightmare. I thought the Gs on the California Screamin at Disneyland were tough.

Nope, had to be one of the major networks because I don't get cable (unless on the road - but I remember being home).
 
Have watched a couple clips on youtube. Pretty overly dramatic overall, but it is interesting to see the differences between the US Hornet syllabus, and that of the Canucks.

This sounds very familiar. I want to say it aired in late 2001 or early 2002. It was American Fighter Pilot or something to that extent. If I recall it was on CBS.
