I would be OK if they wanted to revive the colors of our yutes: Harvest Gold, Avocado, Burnt Orange ... basically nod to Neeleman and appropriate the original Southwest colors.

Or IDK, take the boring paint job Trump was gonna put a AF1.

Does this mean a Southwest/JetBlue merger is imminent since they’re painting their planes Southwest colours? [emoji848]

When I was at the Airbus factory in TLS, they were "Take all the dam pictures you want (Vegas Vacation). EXCEPT FOR THAT CONDOR AIRCRAFT".

It's probably some weird German kink or sometihng.

When that 'Retro' jet came out, it really felt like Jetblue was nodding back at British Caledonian, and I wish they did more of those styles.

Of course everyone going billboard style felt like EasyJet...

The first US operator of the A320. They only operated them for a few months before they went bankrupt, again, and these wound up at America West.

OoooOH, GOOD throwback -- that's the 620 series -AW tail if I recall.
I'll probably give a good few folks here some heart problems saying I was barely a year old when America West got those tails.
The nerd in me would also point to Braniff for individualist paint schemes, since they had their planes painted up in blues, reds, greens, and whatever.

I see online they got the aircraft from Braniff in 1990. That was 33 years ago. I feel like a large portion of dispatchers at this point would be younger than that. Especially with all the retirement packages since 2020 and the subsequent ramp up in hiring.
