Jetblue pilot requirements!

Colgan as well.

If you are at ANY place, have a quick turn, and the FAs are responsible for cleaning the aircraft, God forgive you if you don't help them out.

I help the Airways Shuttle FAs clean the Airplanes ALL the time when jumpseating or nonreving on them. Also have done it on Southwest.

Skyway did!

BTW, Seggs is too hairy for a skirt. Brother won't use "Nair" to save his life.

Actually, I am nairing myself tommorow. Going to Europe with amorris next week, want to make sure my winter sweater is gone in case I get to snuggle close with Jenna.

:)

Anybody else notice is says 1000 turbine and 1000 PIC, but NOT 1000 TPIC? Granted competitve mins are above that, but hard minimums don't appear to be.

That sucks for anyone considering JBLU if they're flying the EMB120 or BE1900 for MTOW. Both aircraft dont qualify for mins.

Most guys are well aware of this requirement.

Personally, I'd never work at JetBlue.

It seemed great at first, in terms of working there (not like i'm even close, just speculation) but it seems that it's kind of on a weird spot right now. Also, the lack of union doesnt help...

Both of our former fleet supervisors just went there. One of them flew an outbound leg to where he lived on an overnight and called crew scheduling and said that JBlue called and he wouldn't be flying the rest of the trip or any more trips for that matter. Anyone got lighter fluid and some matches??

We lost a bunch of guys to Jetblue. They mostly seem happy over there. The 5 year contract is basically so they can can people they don't like, or keep their costs down by knocking off senior guys. We'll see how that works out in the future. I'm just not 100% sold on their long term plan, but then again, the parent company of the one I work for now doesn't have a long term plan other then assimilate everybody else. Wht the heck, it worked for the Borg, so maybe it will work here.

Over at OH, the Cappy' usually helps the FA with the clean-up on tight turns while I do my walk-around. It's not really a big deal. If I have time I will glady help out the FA with clean-up. Some say "Well that's not your job," but sometimes in life you don't need to be an • even if your job allows it. Karma is a B*tch!
