Why apply there ??? For the weather ????

Because we can't all work at Southwest?

I suppose the same could be said about Virgin America - but they really do have nice weather, if you can put up with the drought and chance of earthquakes.

JetBlue has been nothing but great to me ever since I started with them almost a decade ago. No airline is perfect and each has its own caveats. Our immediate leadership is great and have done a lot for us the last couple of years.

Good !

Always a fine thing to talk to a happy man.

So here is a sincere question.....Why does JetBlue look different on the outside than you are experiencing on the inside ?

Because Barger has been looking like a typical exec trying to squeeze all the employees for every last bit of effort and extract concessions in the process.

If I am inaccurate, please set me straight.

I can't speak for the other departments and I am no expert, but it seems to me that part of the problem is that we have too many hands going into a pot to make decisions (too many chiefs, not enough indians). Additionally,it appears that we have a tendency overlook potentially qualified leaders and go with ones that shouldn't belong in a particular role. Could these decisions lead to bad results? Absolutely, but as I've mentioned before, no airline is perfect in what they do.

When I came over to Dispatch here, it was considered a stepping-stone into SysOps and not a career destination. That all changed about 2-3 years ago, where our current leadership turned it back into a career destination. Things are going great for us now, hopefully it continues.

Again, I am very happy with my job and am grateful to everything JB has done for me.

LTDXER, remember, there is a reason why we (DX, ramp, flight crew) are still without a union. Like Rogo said, B6 has been nothing short of great to it's employees.
