JetBlue fun times.

In my personal opinion I think they should change the laws for civil suits that have a criminal component. If a prosecutor cannot bring criminal charges one shouldn't be able to sue civilly for the same thing. I also believe that if one is found innocent in criminal court they should not be able to be sued for the exact same thing in civil court...Especially in the latter it is like being tried twice for the same crime...

The burden of proof is also a lot less in civil court.

Every case and situation is different

Plus there are probably some major medical bills, especially since they apparently caught an STD. Seems more than fair the rapists should be liable for medical expenses, lost income, etc. arising from the assault.
